Cellulite Exercises: Your Orange Peel Skin Gone In Four Weeks

Cellulite Exercises

Orange peel legs, cottage cheese thighs, hail damage, what ever you choose to call your cellulite it’s something that you’re not alone in fighting. Believe it or not 90% of women (even fit women) have cellulite. It’s kind of surprising that so many of us deal with cellulite all the time but few of us actually confess to it. Why is it such an embarrassing issue?

Well, I will gladly stand up and announce that I battle with cellulite.

It used to be terrible, to the point where just crossing my legs yielded some serious “hail damage” on my thighs. But I’ve learned the best cellulite exercises, workout routines, and lifestyle changes to help decrease it significantly so that today I cross my legs without embarrassment.

There are three major influencers of cellulite:

  • Genetics (which we can’t change)
  • Diet
  • Exercise

Since diet and exercise are the only ones you have control over that is what I am going to talk about.

Diet accounts for around 80% of how you look, and if you eat a poor diet you’re going to have cellulite. Here are a few diet tips to fight your cellulite and make it decrease significantly.

Anti-cellulite Diet Tips:

  • Eat clean! Stick to nutrient rich foods like lean protein, vegetables, whole grains and fruits. Foods that are high is sodium, saturated fats, simple sugars and are processed all lead to excess fat storage.
  • Limit your alcohol intake per week. Alcohol increases your body’s desire to hoard body fat.
  • Drink plenty of water. Drinking water flushes out your waste and helps keep the cellulite away. Think of it as “A bottle of water a day, keeps the cellulite away.” Aim to drink 2-4 liters per day (depending on your workout plans).

Now Let’s move the best cellulite exercises! These exercises are all body weight moves and work big muscles. Working big muscle groups means you’ll burn more calories and drop the cellulite faster.

Cellulite Exercises:

  • Squats
  • Lunge walks
  • Step-ups
  • Sprints (30 second intervals)
  • Stair runs (30 second intervals)
  • Mt Climbers
  • Burpees

These are just 7 great examples of exercises that can help tone your body and burn body fat all at the same time. I don’t suggest doing all of these exercises in your next workout, but choose 2-4 of them and give them a try.

Aim for 12-15 reps of each exercise for 2-3 sets. For the sprints and stair runs you are going to do intervals. Intervals are proven to torch body fat incredibly fast! Do the exercise at full intensity for 30 seconds, rest for 15 and repeat for a total of 6-8 times.

Following the diet tips and the cellulite exercise list you’re going to succeed in decreasing the appearance of your dimples. While it might not go away 100% (dang genetics) you can significantly decrease it… and I urge you to set it as a goal!
